Calling All Poets!
To commemorate National Poetry Month, the New Brunswick Free Public Library has compiled its Annual Poetry Month Celebration Anthology, sponsored by the Raritan Valley Federation of Libraries, in April 2025. The Poetry Anthology is open to all poets – from novice to previously published, and from New Jersey or across the globe. The deadline for submissions was extended from Friday, March 21, to March 28, 2025. For details, you may download a Poetry Submission Form here (o haga clic aquí para español), though the deadline is now past.
All poets who submitted to the anthology are invited to read their published poems at the virtual Poetry Reading on Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to attend this event, which is free and open to the public to listen to the reading. Registration is required to get the Zoom link; register at tinyurl.com/NBPoetry2025. Interested persons can contact Librarian Jackie Oshman at
