April is National Poetry Month!

To commemorate National Poetry Month, the New Brunswick Free Public Library and the Raritan Valley Federation of Libraries published its 23rd Annual National Poetry Month Celebration Anthology in April 2023. The Poetry Anthology is open to all poets – from novice to previously published, and from New Jersey or across the globe. The deadline for submissions was March 24, 2023. The anthology is embedded on this page; below that is a link to download the PDF.

Poets who submitted poems for the Anthology read their work at the library’s annual Poetry Celebration on Monday, April 24th, via Zoom. Watch the recording of this year's Reading here or via YouTube:

The New Brunswick Free Public Library, co-sponsored by the Raritan Valley Federation of Libraries, compiled its first ever Virtual Annual Poetry Month Celebration Anthology in April 2021.
