Exit at George Street/Rutgers University. Follow George Street to Livingston Avenue. Turn right onto Livingston Avenue. Library is two blocks past the stop light on your left. Traveling South on Route 18:
Traveling South on Route 27:
Cross the Raritan River into New Brunswick. Route 27 is Albany Street. At 2nd traffic light, turn left onto Nielson Street (Hyatt Hotel on corner). At traffic light, turn right onto New Street. Follow New Street to 2nd traffic light (Elks Club on corner). Turn left onto Livingston Avenue. Library is on your left.
The Library has a metered parking lot available for parking. The meters accept only dimes and/or quarters: You get 12 minutes for a dime, 30 minutes for a quarter. Metered parking is in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Fridays. There is no need to deposit money into the meter on weekends or after 8:00 p.m.
The library parking lot is located behind and on the right side of the library when facing the building, off of Welton Street. (If you turn onto Welton Street from Livingston Avenue, take your second left into the parking lot.)
